Active Older Adults Happenings
The month of January can be busy with holiday activities and we
sometimes neglect our physical fitness. So, start the new year right by
trying one of the following on-going activities. (More specific
information on these activities can be obtained by calling the PrimeTime
Health program at the Berks County Senior Citizens Council,
610-374-3195).

Friday at 1:00 p.m.
The benefits of
participating in these activities are numerous. Exercise or physical
activity helps to improve cardiovascular fitness, digestion, sleep,
balance and coordination, strength, glucose metabolism as well as aids
in reducing stress, lowers blood pressure and decreases risk of falling
or injury. AND, you feel better physically and mentally!
